30% of the global population is under age 18. We cannot vote, have no public voice, and no representation in government. More than any other issue, the climate crisis will affect us most. Decisions made or not made today will determine our future prosperity, hope, and security. It's time our voices are heard.
I ride my bike to work and to the grocery store. It’s great - healthy exercise, beautiful feeling the wind in my face, I can talk to neighbors as I ride by. It also is way cheaper than a car. Geez, no brainer… Sam Nickels PS—my kids made me do this, they are the 30%, and they give me hope, and THEY MATTER.
In Pune, India the streets were so heavy with smog I had to cover my mouth and nose with a scarf. No one should have to live in a place so heavily populated and polluted. The mountains in El Salvador are beautiful but the trash piles burning on the side of the road are not. And it always blows me away to realize how much land is covered up with city, streets, and farm land in the U.S.. We are not living in harmony with the land and that scares me. The 30% Matter.

The environment around you is your reality. You cannot ignore your reality. You can choose to invest in the environment around you and live in a better world, or you can choose not to. You can not ignore it. I’m to 30%. I matter, and so do you. Choose the right thing. Invest.

I’ve walked with a young Maasai girl to her village’s completely dry watering hole in Tanzania. WE are the 30%, and across the globe, our future is in peril. I am taking action, for her sake and mine. All the profit in the world can’t buy back our futures & homes. THE 30% MATTER.
